Mistral is a handmade pendant necklace from the La Poem jewellery series, centred around a shimmering sky-blue vintage glass cabochon from the 1950s. This unique piece carries a quiet charm inspired by past decades, combining ornamentation with a soft, poetic character.
The long, clasp-free design makes the necklace easy to slip on over the head. Blue tones and aged silver hues create a luminous focal point, while the decorative soutache details and layered beadwork give the pendant depth and individuality.
Jewellery from the La Poem series blends vintage aesthetics, joyful expression and intricate craftsmanship. Each piece is handmade in Finland and entirely one of a kind.
Materials
Vintage sky-blue glass cabochon from the 1950s (partly milk-glass toned), soutache braid, glass rhinestones, Czech glass beads, Japanese etched glass beads, aquamarine beads, European crystal beads, coated carbon steel chain, jewellery-grade stainless steel wire, support materials, microfibre backing and decorative jewellery metal elements.
Size & weight
Chain length is approximately 87 cm.
Pendant size (including small crystal drop): approximately 7.5 × 4.5 cm.
Pendant weight is approximately 15 g.

About the beadwork thread
The beaded and embroidered jewellery pieces created at the atelier are stitched using Fireline thread, manufactured in the USA. The fibre used in Fireline is known under the Dyneema brand — one of the strongest fibres in the world — made from extremely durable yet lightweight polyethylene (UHMWPE).

Metals used across the atelier’s jewellery:
Depending on the design, the jewellery may include the following metals:
• Sterling silver (925)
• Gold-plated sterling silver
• Stainless steel suitable for jewellery use (AISI 304)
• Gold-plated stainless steel
• Solid bronze
Stainless steel is durable, highly resistant to wear and generally well suited for sensitive skin, which is why it is often used for earring hooks and posts.
In some designs, copper or plated brass may be used in structural elements that do not come into direct contact with the skin.
The exact metal used in each piece is always specified in the individual product description. All metal components comply with EU regulations and meet the required limits regarding nickel, lead and cadmium.
