Jewellery care

Ateljee jewellery is made to be worn — feel free to enjoy your pieces every day. Jewellery loves to be seen, but it also appreciates gentle care. With the right attention, your jewellery will stay beautiful for years to come.

The most important rule to remember is simple:
put your jewellery on last and take it off first.

Jewellery does not respond well to strong chemicals, sudden temperature changes or frequent exposure to water. Please avoid applying perfume, hairspray or other spray products while wearing your jewellery, and do not wear it in the sauna or shower.

Soutache jewellery

Soutache jewellery can be worn comfortably in everyday life. As these pieces include textile elements, they should not be worn in the sauna or shower.

If a piece becomes wet, allow it to dry naturally on a flat surface. Please do not place jewellery on a radiator or use a hairdryer. Jewellery can be gently cleaned with a slightly damp microfibre cloth if needed.

Storage

Between uses, jewellery should be stored in a jewellery box or another enclosed space. The acid-free jewellery box or pouch included with your order is ideal for this purpose.
